I need something to apply to the area, yogurt doesn't really work for me...


Inserting a weat germ pill into your vagina can help (I'm totally serious). Again, if it's a yeast infection, this won't help. Sometimes itchiness can be caused by dryness, the wheat germ will help and is completely natural and safe. The pills can be bought at any pharmacy or vitamin shop.

Is there a natural remedy for itching skin on my cat?

She itches a lot in certain areas of her body and licks all the fur off in those spots. The itchy areas are not red or moist.
My vet recommended Cortizone shots every 2-3 months, but I don't want to do that if I can avoid it becuase she said Cortizone shots can cause cancer. I'm hoping there's some other remedy.


are you saying your cat scratches alot? could be as simple as fleas ar something as serious as exima or an alargy how long ago did it start? has anything changed in the household? is your cat nervous? best solution is to check your cats skin and if anything seems irregular take her to the vet.

Thrush driving me mad!!!! Any natural remedies to relieve the itching?

I have recently been on a course of anti-biotics and seem to have developed thrush! It has been a little itchy for a day or two but today has been awful and it is now also burning and swollen where i have been itching so much!!

It definitely is not an STI may i add as i have recently been tested and almost always practice safe sex with my partner.

Is there anything that will help relieve the itching until i can get to the chemsit tomorrow?

Is the itching on the outer skin, or is it on the inside?

If it is on the outside, it may be an infection and you need to visit a doctor. If it feels dry or flaky, lightly apply a scentless moisturizing cream to the outside skin, careful to not get any cream on the inside.

If it is internal, I strongly suggest seeing a doctor. Try wearing pajama shorts or boxers without underwear, especially at night, to let air flow through. Also, you can try taking a plastic tampon applicator, filling with plain (not flavored or colored) yogurt, and freezing it. Once frozen, insert like a tampon and wear a pad. The natural cultures in plain yogurt help balance vaginal bacteria.

I was a buffet for mosquitoes today, any suggestions on how to stop this massive itching?


Wash the bites off with apple cider vinegar and try Apis Mellifica 30C or 6c (6c is stronger) homeopathic remedy. If that doesn't work then try the Ledum Pal 30c or 6c homeopathic remedy that was suggested. The apis one is used for the burning and swelling, and inflamation of the bites. Ledum is used more for the nerve damage that some bites cause...it's better for bee stings.
