are there any good home remedies? natural products that work? what to do and what not to do?
really the best thing is Acyclovir or Valtrex prescriptions. if you take it at the first sign of a sore and take as directed it should heal in about 3-5 days. if it swells take an OTC anti- inflammatory (ibuprophen or aleve). For some home remedies, never take any herbal supplements because you never know what they are really putting in that stuff because it is not regulated by the FDA and you never know if you might be allergic to it or if it will react with some other kind of medication your are currently taking. I use to use a plain teabag dipped in ice water and just hold it on the sore for a few minutes at a time. It would feel so good to have it on there. try it a couple times a day if possible. Another thing is if you have a hot tub with chlorine in it then just letting your lip soak in the water for a little while (as long as it doesn't sting) will also help it heal faster.

Skin Rash Treatment And Home Remedies For Skin Blisters
Blisters are formed as a result of friction. When the skin is subject to a constant rubbing motion against some other material, such as the inside of a shoe or cloth, the friction thus caused pulls on the external layer of the skin, harming it. This part of the skin then swells up with fluid, resulting in the formation of a blister. Blisters can form on any part of the body that is exposed to continuous friction. Blisters can be rather painful, in fact if they are not attended to in time, they can get infected leading to further complications.
Tips For Treating Blisters At HomeThankfully, these bumps can be treated at home effectively, with the help of some simple home remedies. Castor oil is known to be a very effective remedy for the treatment of blisters. All you need to do is dab a liberal coating of the oil onto the blisters and let it sit for an hour or two. Wash the oil off with some warm water and an anti bacterial soap. Onion slices can also be used to treat them. Dice half an onion and mix it with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.
