I have used every over the counter kind of acne face wash and cream and nothing is working and I can't afford to go to a dermatologist. I had acne real bad in high school and started using Proactiv and it worked instantly. Last May I stopped using it and now my face has started breaking out again so I started using Proactiv again and it's not working. I want to try something natural to see if it helps. Any suggestions...
Using tea tree oil ( you can find it at the drug store or a health food store) as a toner on the affected areas before bed works well as a natural antiseptic to clear pimples. To restore moisture and promote new skin cells to grow, you can use a vitamin E oil all over your face or just where you need it. You can buy it at drug stores in a glass jar or you can buy vitamin E capsules, pierce them open and use the oil inside. It's a bit more hassle, but it's fresher and more potent than the jar variety.
Just some ways to clear your acne with everyday thingsThanks so much for watching! Please let me know if you have any requests :) Also please ...
I have used almost everything from prescriptions and OTC remedies to clear my skin, however, most don't work. I'd like to try something more "at home" and with ingredients that I know won't aggravate my sensitive skin. Any suggestions?
Hello, dear..Right choice, to use homemade remedies to clear your skin naturally, without damaging its natural balance ( PH level, etc.). I have some proven, workable remedies for clearing my too sensitive and at times problematic skin and they are even powerful than the too pricey or advertised cosmetic products. Well, let me share you as I am saying "my little secrets".
1) Remedy for clearing deeply the skin pores and removing all dead cells, improving the skin tone:
Mix one teaspoonful of witch hazel( flour) with two teaspoonful of oat flour with white of the egg or with rose water;
2) For everyday safe and mild clearing you can merely mix oatmeal flour with water;
3) Clearing the skin, toning and reinvigorating mask: clay ( very powerful absorbent of all impurities, rich in minerals) with rose water;
4) Natural tonic for mixed and sensitive skin: equal proportions of cucumber juice and rose water;
5) Apply lukewarm milk from time to time on the face and then gently splash it with cold water;
6) Great ingredients has the natural honey, you could add it to plenty of masks or solely, your facial skin will shine;
Just try one of them and you'll see the result!
Have a great day!
I was put on some medication for awhile and it kind messed up my skin with acne and some scarring and left it looking like this http://s993.photobucket.com/albums/af57/ btb1989/?action=view¤t=2009-07 -30023021.jpg. How would I clear up it up with natural remedies? Thanks

You can try a mixture of yogurt and honey for a smoother feel.
And spreading avocado on your face is good for oily skin.
BUT, before you go putting food on your face I would recommend eating it! I also have acne and trust me, your diet is everything. If you have an oily snack you can expect that oil to resurface on your face. Some people may have a certain food that makes them break out. For example just the other day I realized milk gives me pimples :(
So when you break out you might want to look over the meals you've had the past few days.
P.S. Something like green tea (to clean out your system) might be something to look into as well.
Good Luck!
