Does anyone know any effective natural, or at home remedies for BV?
I am only 13 and I refuse to use a prescription treatment from a doctor or anyone, I don't want anything like that in my body, and it makes it worse anyway. Does tea tree oil work, and if so, how do I use it?
Also, how do I get rid of the fishy smell, because its absolutely disgusting.

Sorry, honey, the only thing that's going to cure a bacterial infection is an antibiotic. No, tea trea oil will not cure it.

You could risk leaving the infection and getting Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, which could then make you infertile (meaning you'll never be able to have kids due to the severe scarring the infection will leave behind) and cause severe pain.

Get a prescription for Metrogel or another antibiotic from your doctor.

It's not going to get better without it, only worse.

I think I have a bacterial infection...my only symptom is a slight fishy odor sometimes..mostly after intercourse. Wondering if anyone had tried Femdophilis for BV? Does anyone know of any other over the counter or natural remedies for BV?

I have never tried Femodophillous for BV, but one other thing that could possibly help is trying to drink something like apple cider vinegar. I would recommend checking with a health food store as well to see what they say.

But even before doing that I would recommend checking with a doctor to see what kind of infection you have going on before trying to treat it.

I`ve been reading lots of websites and am 150% sure that I have BV. I do not want to go to the gyno or use antibiotics to cure this because it`s the antibiotics that gave me this in the first place. Also, I am not the biggest fan of modern medecine right now...lol... Does anyone know of any natural remedies??? Please elaborate on them... THX!!!

i have this for 9 months now and i thought it's not a big deal since i come across about BV in the internet and feared it was really bad since i am pregnant in my third trimester! it worries me so much! i have not consulted a doctor since i thought that it just a simple discharge that can be cured with lactacyd or any feminine wash. im so worried that this might affect my baby's development as well as his brain. can i still cure BV in my third trimester? would it have any complications? im searching for any herbal remedies, can anyone recommend the best way to treat it? do i really need to see a doctor for this since i do not experience any other symptoms except my discharge is milky and have a very foul odor, though its not painful to urinate and the like..
