Please share what natural remedies or concoctions you know really work.

It is important to have a healthy balanced nutrition plan to avoid them.
If you have one magna plasm will draw out the core in a beutifully clean fashion.
If you do not want to use magna plasm
peel a potatoe and leave it in the fridge over night.
Using a metal dinner fork grate a fine amount a little bulkier than the boil itself.
Gently squeeze out excess juice but it should still be moist. (make sure your hands are thoroughly clean)
place in a plaster and put the plaster on the boil with the grated potatoe in direct contact with the boil
change every 12 hours
It will draw out the core and leave a very clean hole.
This is gentle and relatively painless and great for children.

Another way is to use MANUKA honey 12 plus or more.
heat it on the plaster in a microwave for a few seconds until warm. Not tooo hot as you do not want to burn the skin.
Place on the boil
change every 4 to six hours.
This works faster but you can feel the core being drawn out
Once the core is out and the hole very clean
Keep covered with Lavenser essential oil. 1 drop neat on a plaster. This will encourage healing.

Is there any natural remedies to cure cysts or boils?

I have one in my lower buttox (left cheek) and it's about 3-4" in diameter. It does give me a lot of pain but, is there any remedies or creams I can buy before I ever see a Doc?
I had this for more than a year, however I didn't feel the pain until recently this week. I'm not sure if it's a cyst or a boil or a ingrown hair... all I know it's hard and painful.

Do not squeeze, scratch, drain, open (lance), or puncture the lump. Doing this can irritate or inflame the lump, push any existing infection deeper into the skin, or cause severe bleeding.

Keep the area clean by washing the lump and surrounding skin well with an antibacterial soap.

Apply warm, wet washcloths to the lump for 20 to 30 minutes, 3 to 4 times a day. If you prefer, you can also use a hot water bottle or heating pad over a damp towel. The heat and moisture can soothe the lump, increase blood circulation to the area, and speed healing. It can also bring a lump caused by infection to a head (but it may take 5 to 7 days). Be careful not to burn your skin. Do not use water that is warmer than bath water.

If the lump begins to drain pus, apply a bandage to keep the draining material from spreading. Change the bandage daily. If a large amount of pus drains from the lump, or the lump becomes more red or painful, evaluation by a health professional may be needed.

Natural remedies to speed up healing?

I've gotten really sick from stress lately.

I had my period for 2 weeks, my curly hair went totally limp, my skin is gross and I've come up in painful boils! I feel extremely rundown as well.

I went to the doc and she told me to stop stressing and gave my some penicillin to help get the infection out of my body.

Do you know any natural things I can use to help relieve stress symptoms and help me get my healthy blood back?

Try a B-complex and iron supplements. The B-complex will help with stress, give you energy, and strengthen your immune system. Extra iron will help since you have been losing more blood than usual.

A multivitamin may also help you if you don't take one already. You might also want to consider cutting unhealthy foods out of your diet.

L-theanine (an ingredient found in green tea) comes in supplement form and really helps with stress and anxiety. It's very safe and has almost no side effects. I take it and have had no problems.

What is a good home remedy for cysts and boils?

I always have at least one cyst or boil that is painful. They come frequently and take a while to go away. Some never do, they just stay dormant. At this time, I do not have health insurance, but I will within the next 2 months. In the meantime, what can I do to prevent them and get rid of the ones I have? I would like suggestions on maybe medicines (over-the-counter) or some natural remedies. When I get them, I soak in a warm tub, but it usually only helps for a couple hours. I don't know why I get them and I don't know what to do to stop them. I have one now that is causing me a lot of discomfort. It makes it tough to sleep and sometimes hard to sit, depending on where they are.

Okay, I have the same problem too. And have all my life. They ussually appear in the worst most uncomfortable places too! First, you can get an ointement over the counter. It's called Boil-Ease. Put that on with a Bandaid over it over night or for several hours during the day. That will actually cause it to "come to a head"... or draw the stuff up to the surface. (Mine ussually make big pockets of stuff under the skin or deep into the muscle). After that, get a damp cloth and microwave it for a minute or so... till it's really hot.. and barely standable. Take off the bandaid and cover the boil with the cloth. Trust me it's not gonna feel very good. Once the cloth has been on long enough it's cooled... take a STERILE needle and punture (not deep) but straight into the center of it. You may or may not have to squeeze any. If you DO have to squeeze, make sure that you start out away from the head of the boil and work inwards (do not squeeze just the head of it... that will only push the stuff back in) That should release the "core", or at least some of the puss and pressure. The core will be a hard mass. Trust me, you'll know when it comes out. It will be IMMEDIATE relief. If it bleeds before that core comes out. Then start the cycle over with the ointment and so forth.

On one's that aren't so very bad the ointment alone may cause them to ooze and dissapear on their own.

Make sure that your hands and the cloth are clean. And the needle is sterile. If not you could cause yourself a SERIOUS infection.

Good luck.. I know how painful they are.

P.S. The doctor will give you a local anethesia, then lance or core them in the office. The home remedy way is much less painful and much less invasive. And you heal much faster too.

Whats a good natural remedy or cure for sore throats?

Well I've already done the following this morning
-drank ginger tea with ginger bits in it and ate them
-spoon of honey
-drank honey and lemon tea
-gargled salt
all these things only releived it tempoarily and now its hurting again
theres this other remedy that I dont understand something about boiling water and inhaling steam.... does that work?
Any other good household natural remedies
how long should I wait til the next spoon of honey?

All of those things that you listed should be good for your throat. It sounds to me that you have to work more on the cause of the sore throat.

    Boils causes

Staphylococcus aureus or the straph bacteria infect the hair follicles, causing infection. The bacteria usually enter the skin through a break in the skin, such as scratch or cut.

As soon the straph bacteria infect the hair follicles, neutrophils, which are a type of white blood cell, rush to kill the bacteria present in the infected hair follicles. This causes inflammation of the hair follicle and formation of pus, causing boils to appear underneath the skin.

The pus present in the boil comprises of dead skin cells, old neutrophils and the bacteria. Generally, boils heal easily. However, sometimes it can cause complications such as sepsis or blood poisoning. This occurs if the straph bacteria enter the bloodstream. If left untreated, sepsis can lead to death.
