Natural Remedies For Arthritis In Dogs

My yellow lab is almost 16 years and cannot get up and down our steps any longer to go outside. He is quite large and I cannot carry him..The vet said that it is his age and arthritis and has been prescribing something. however i have just gotten laid off and can no longer afford this. He will just fall sometimes and i am afraid he will be in pain. Does anyone know of something I can give him that is natural for dogs. Thank You

After having gone through a similar situation the best advice I can give is to put the dog on maalox coated aspirin for the pain. It is very affordable, and Glucosamine Sulfate for hip and joint releif also very affordable.

My small, house dog gets up in the mornings, really stiff. After she gets stirring around, the stiffness and limping go away. I am wondering if it is safe to give her a natural herb for "arthritis"? If so, what is something safe to use? Anyone experience herbs for their pets arthritis-like symptoms? Thanks for all answers.

Put a raw potato in the dog basket/kennel. Have heard first-hand from ppl with Arthritis that it helps.
