my hair takes so long to grow!! i recently cut my hair short this was about 4-5 months ago and its still short its grown a bit but not enough... my cousin cut her hair up to her shoulder around the time i cut my hair and her hair is already at her back.. can i use any natural remedies that i can make myself? or any type of product the cheaper the better.. how about aloe from a aloe plant that i grow at home? asap thanks =)

Sorry to say it, but there is honestly no way to make your hair grow rapidly. I have really slow growing hair also, it never seems to want to go past my shoulders.

I have tried hair vitamin pills at Sally's Beauty Supply called Follicure. They didn't help very much. I also tried Hair Formula 37, very expensive pills that claimed to make your hair grow amazingly fast. I took them for a few months.

They didn't work.

There is, however, a natural pill called Biotin which helps grow healthy nails and hair. Your hair won't grow RAPIDLY, but it will help make it stronger so that it stays longer. Healthy hair grows, so keep getting trims too.

There is eggs and mayo and olive oil. Put it in a bowl and mix it like a cake. Put it in as a conditioner and then blow dry your hair. i have had such a poor diet for so long and have recently started eating healthily...

i eat quite a lot of avocados, not daily but i love them and heard the essential fat was good for your skin and hair e.t.c. i also eat lots of salmon and nuts, seeds e.t.c.

do you no any other foods known to be good for your hair? to make it look shiny and help with quick hair growth and thickness? also any foods good for your skin and general complexion???

fruits (ANY really) like blackberry's blueberry's strawberrys, apples etc
too many nuts arent good for u coz they make ure skin go oily
heaps of water REEEEEALLY helps, i started drinking more water and my skins cleared up heaps, water really is one of the best things for good skin
foods with vitamin A B and C are essential as is low-fat dairy products
oh and proteins (meat is a good source)
overall, i spose anything natural is good, and try to stay away from refined foods or takeout

My daughter is almost 2 years old and still has barely any hair...what are some old at home remedies to help her hair grow faster?

Scalp massage is very beneficial but you have to be gentle because of her age. Yes there are herbal/aromatherapy products that promote hair growth but many cannot be used at such a young age. A drop ot two of Roman Chamomile blended with sweet almond oil would be a nice choice for a 2 yr old.

There is a rare condition which causes hair not to grow in young children called Congenital Atrichia. With congenital atrichia a child could be born with apparently normal hair; but once the hair enters the first resting period the hair falls out, and the entire growth cycle shuts down.

To me it sounds as if your daughter hair is just slow growing right now which is fairly common. My daughter also had very little hair at age 2. Now it is beautiful, thick and long!
