so iv been ttc #1 for ages!!!!! been on clomid and everything!! iv been on the net and and seen native remedies, fertile xx for women and fertile xy for man!! has any one here got preggers on native remedies? or any other natural fertility blend? and how long did it take? thank you
No haven't tried any of these but it believed that a diet high in zinc for men and folate for women will help, my sister in law had three miscarrages and the doctor told here to take megafol 5mg per day, it also helps to avoid birth defects, so take a multivitamin and a folate daily, raise your husbands zinc level in his diet and there is also a test you can get from the chemist, telling you when your optimum time of ovulation is, its got something to do with your temperature etc., also dont use tampons anymore this interupts the natural cycle (told to my sister by her obgyn) if all of this doesnt work, then maybe its time for a fertility test done on both of you, hope this helps you and goodluck starting your family! :)
Increasing fertility with tea is possible by consuming one cup of green tea, hot or cold, every day, which has antioxidants that clear the body of ...
trying to conceive and i want to know are there any natural remedies to increase my fertility.
First of all, I'd recommend charting your fertility signs. This can tell you when YOU are fertile and if there are any issues w/ your cycle which could dela conception or cause difficulty w/ carrying a pregnancy. W/o a chart, I couldn't recommend any specific remedies.
In general, you should have good nutrition. Avoid as much processed and refined food as possible. Try to eat organic whenever possible. Take supplements as needed.

We've been TTC for over a year now and before we start any medical procedures (drugs and shots...yikes!) I'd like to explore some natural remedies. Any suggestions on what has or hasn't worked for you?
Thanks!!
I don't know of any natural remedies but the following really helps:
-eliminate caffeine (sodas, tea, chocolate, coffee)
-use chlorine-free personal hygiene products
-start taking a prenatal vitamin (for the folic acid and the iron)
-drink orange juice (also for the folic acid)
-don't smoke, of course
-don't eat tropical fruit, especially papaya - teh ingredients in papaya (called papain) can hinder conception. Papaya is used as a contraceptive by some tribes (really, this is true)
-get checked for mineral deficiencies (especially an iron deficiency that can make you anemic - especially if you have painful periods)
-and generally relax and let go. I'm sure that lots of people tell you this but it works (I know! ... and now she's 16 months old!).
Good luck!

I have PCOS... any ideas???
I've heard that Vitex (Chasteberry Extract) is reccomended for women with PCOS. However, I'm not positive of the effect it has. It can be purchased at Whole foods and other health stores. I reccomend getting the liquid form instead of the pill, as it works much quicker.
