Does anyone know any natural remedies for gall bladder problems?

Natural? No. My boyfriend had surgery last year - he had to have his gallbladder taken out because of how bad his pain was. He was released the same day, and recovery was fairly quick. Apparently, this surgery is quite common, more so with women. It is also hereditary -- or at least it can be.

If the pain isn't bad, then it's probably wise to go see your doctor so to catch anything now and get it treated before it bursts or gets infected. My boyfriend's bursted as they removed it because it was so inflamed, but that's common as well -- if you let it go too long. His cousin had her's removed when she was fifteen and was fine. They gave her the stones, which looked like little rocks! "Better out than in" I always say.

Overall, stay away from fatty and spicy foods, as they can aggravate it. Also try to steer clear of alcohol, grease -- anything fried, etc. Especially NO peanuts, that seems to make a lot of people with gallbladder issues sick.

Go see a doctor so you can get it fixed. It's a minor surgery (you might not even need it), Good Luck and Hang in There!

Do these natural remedies to flush gall stones work?

I'm having (I think) gall bladder attacks about every month now. I know these are caused by gall stones.

Looks like I have three options,

1) eat better, and hope I don't have any more attacks
2) have my gall bladder removed
3) "flush" my gallbladder with some of these natural remedies.

Do these natural remedies really work, or do they just want my money?

You cannot "flush" gallstones. PERIOD.

There are people who want to sell you something, and they will lie and tell you that a flush will work. They do not. Gallstones do not pass from the gallbladder no matter what you take. It just does not happen.

What is the best natural remedy for dissolving gall bladder stone?

I don't think that that is possible. I had gall stones last yr & had to have my gall bladder removed. The surgery wasn't too bad & I felt 100% better afterwards. I had gotten to the point where I could hardly eat & I was throwing up as soon as I woke up. I was told that your symptoms never get better they will only get worse. I wish you the best of luck. God bless.

Post Gall Bladder removal 1 symptom is severe itchiness all over the body Prescribed drugs no good. Natural?

Looking for possible homeopathic remedy for my mother since Dr and a skin specialist are unable to help. She has been prescribed 3 different types of drugs, all of which have failed and the itchiness, just one of her symptoms, is driving her insane. I have encouraged her to see an homeopathic doctor but she is reluctant. Would appreciate some positive input re possible natural remedy to encourage her to get help elsewhere.

Is she on morphine or opiates for pain? That can cause ITCHINESS! Try Benadryl over the counter.
EDIT: Oh, sorry, natural....oatmeal bath.

Has anyone actually tried a successful natural remedy for gall stones?

I got my gall bladder removed last year but often times I still felt pain and nausea after eating. I felt much worse last week and my doctor ordered an ERCP, which helped, but I have to get a second ERCP to get one more stone they couldn't remove from my duct the first time. How can I prevent gall stones from forming in the future? Please answer only if you have tried something that has worked.

Drink lots of water!!! It doesn't get rid of them completly, but it helps prevent future ones!!!

  • Top 10 Natural Remedies for Gallbladder Inflammation

Below is a list of natural remedies for gallbladder inflammation that can be initiated at home before major symptoms of gallstones occur.

    1. Pears

Gallbladder inflammation can be treated naturally through the use of pears. Eating pears or drinking pear juice several times a day can relieve symptoms of gallstones or those symptoms of pain related to a blocked bile duct.

    2. Beets

Beet juice cleanses the gallbladder and is great when a patient has a blocked bile duct. Drinking approximately 100 ml of beet juice twice daily will help to eliminate gallbladder inflammation.

    3. Olive Oil

Natural olive oil that is raw and unrefined has been a proponent in the natural remedies of the removal of gallstones. Approximately 30 ml of olive oil should be taken upon waking in the morning. You may choose to immediately follow the olive oil with about 100 ml of lemon juice or grapefruit juice. This morning cocktail should be taken every morning for weeks if necessary to eliminate and relieve any symptoms of gallstones.
