Alternative Natural Remedies

I've missed my period several times,last time I went to the doc,I was prescribed with Provera,now I got my period back.But I want it to be regular every month,without having to take any birth control. What is a natural/vitamin remedy that can help me?

Red raspberry leaf tea is great for this..It comes either loose in bulk, or in the tea bags..

I'm looking for specific brands of herbal, homeopathic, supplements, etc. My son is 7 and has been diagnosed with ADHD and I would like some suggestions as we are not going to medicate him. Thanks!

It depends on the severity of the ADHD. I have two boys ages 7 and 8 who are extremely ADHD and a majority of the herbal remedies did not work for them. There is a form of massage therapy called Cranial Sacral that did provide a form of relief for my oldest son. It is hard to find a therapist that is licensed in that field and expensive but it was, by far, the best thing we tried. Another thing that helps somewhat is diet modification. Try eliminating processed sugars, processed foods in general and adding more protein, raw vegetables (if you can get him to eat it), and whole grains. Sometimes even the herbacides that are used on vegetables can cause problems so make sure everything is all natural. There is a product called BrightSpark that I've heard works wonders and also one called Focus. It's basically a combination of different amino acids, minerals and vitamins that help the nervous system function on a more "normal" basis. As weird as this may sound ear candleing is a wonderful help for ADHD too. We do it regularly and it helps a great deal for the concentration. We've also found that counseling helps...it helps them cope with having ADHD and gives them someone to talk to outside of the family. Good luck!! Some of the smartest, most successful people have ADHD and used it to their advantage (Albert Einstein for one).

I was told by an herbalist to try the formula Cinnamon and Hoelen which I am, but also wanted some diet adjustments to go with it (such as fruits and veggies to eat and food to avoid)

You are just going to have to really research this, the traditional chinese medicine offer lysimachia 3 by seven forests and i will list a resource at the bottom for that...
I think that the key is to balance your body so you dont get them, and I heard organge juice every day for the stones, cysts i would have to research myself.... there is something off in your body, and there are several places to get answers or diagnosis, regular western doctors, homeopathic doc, naturopathic doc, traditional chinese medical doc..... then put the info together
the cinnamon and hoelen will help you resolve the phlegm that creates the cysts and it is acting on the spleen that regulates the phlegm... however the question is, why is your spleen weak and why isnt it regulating the phlegm on its own like it should.... so there is a reason ,and you have to find it, it could be just poor diet, the sign of a thyroid problem, digestion problems, liver problems, kidney problems, see what I mean?
That is why you need someone trained to help get to the root cause.

Our family doctor prescribed hydrocortisone for my daughter (she's 3 going on 4 in January) to treat her eczema. She gets it quite badly about 2x per year - on her arms, legs and sometimes on her stomach. The pharmacist just cautioned me about not using the hydrocortisone too much on her - why would that be? Is it a steroid?

She gets it twice a year - probably when the big changes in weather come. This is a trigger for eczema.

My son was the same way and at the time he was an infant/toddler we had an "older" ped who was wonderful. he said all of the expensive skin creams in the world - nothing is better than good old fashioned vasoline. Take a big glop while she is standing in the bath and then let her play for 5-10. Of course, stay close to make sure she is sitting as the tub gets slippery. When she gets out gently dry her off (don't rub as it irritates skin conidtions). Cortisone is helpful but can lead to think skin, white patches on the skin and photosensitivity so try Vasoline first. Worked wonders for us and others I know

Keep an eye on her as she grows for allergies and asthma as they almost always go hand in hand with ecxema.

First of all I would like to thank those how have taken time to answer my question. I have found some answers to be helpful.
As for details, without giving too many, its a thyroid tumor. About 4cm not just one, a few, three of which are 4cm. They are not extremely visible but slightly. In a rather young adult patient.

Turmeric Powder is found to be very very effective in reducing the size of tumors along with pure Honey.
