Salt Colon Cleanse

Answers

Has anyone tried a sea salt colon cleanse?

I read on the internet today that drinking sea salt in water first thing in the morning will clean out the colon… Im just wondering if anyone has tried it? Is it safe to do?

Drinking sea salt has benefits, it removes toxins and helps your digestive system kind of like a laxative. I would add a little lemon juice to it. You can also increase the cleanse by soaking in a sea salt bath for 1 hour 3 times a week. Also during the cleanse stay away from greasy fried foods. sea salt cleanse does not taste good at all..so the lemon helps...good luck

Sea salt colon cleanse?

I want to do the sea salt cleanse (1 quart of water and 2 tsp of sea salt). Does anyone tried it at night? A few hours after their last meal? I don't really have the time to sit around for 1 hour in the morning....

If you never tried it, don't answer please.

If you're going to do a salt water cleanse, you need to be in close proximity to a restroom, or you WILL regret it. I can guarantee you will NOT sleep well if you try to do it right before bed time.

It scrapes your insides pretty raw, so I don't recommend doing it when you have a lot lined up for the day. You're going to be running to the bathroom within an hour no matter what time of day you take it, but you'll get a deeper clean if you do it in the morning on an empty stomach.

Pink himalayan sea salt to cleanse your colon?

Is taking 1 tablespoon of pink himalayan sea salt in a 32oz. amount of warm water a way to cleanse your colon in a healthy way?

That does not sound like the best approach. One healthy way to cleanse the colon is to eat a diet that is high in fiber. Eating things like beans, Vegetables, fruits, Flax seeds, and nuts are very helpful for this. Here is an article that might help you: (see source)

Does the epson salt/see salt colon cleansing work?

I have realized that my belly is getting bigger than usual so was thinking about trying this type of colon cleansing. Does it work and are there any disadvantages to it?

try drinking 64oz of water a day before you resort to epsom salt. That stuff is NASTY. If you drink more water, your body will flush out as much as it can, watch what you're eating, and try to cut back here and there.

Colon cleanses are not the kind of thing you do at home. Consult a doctor if you have your heart set on that method.

colon cleanse with epsom salt to get rid of ance...does it realy work?

ok I been trying to find this out cause I heard it somewere and like epsom salt like sucks all the water out my body and well cleans my colon lol but will this realy help get rid of my acne? and if so how long will it take and do I eat of not since i am doing this?

I'm not sure a colon cleanse will help with acne, but a liver cleanse might.

ADDED: Here's a link to an info page with a survey saying that 52% of those suffering from chronic acne say their condition improved with a liver flush, which 15% say it was cured altogether. It also has some rather grisly pictures of gallstones:

http://curezone.com/cleanse/liver/

You can do a liver cleanse with Epsom salt, fresh grapefruit juice (as in you squeeze it yourself), and light virgin olive oil... it doesn't cost much, but it's going to make a day somewhat less pleasant. The Epsom salt acts as a strong laxative... you will definitely purge your system. The grapefruit juice/olive oil combination will cause your liver to push out gall stones and some bile. This will help your liver work more effectively and might help your body clear up some of the acne.

You may have to do more than one of these (let a few weeks pass between them) to see results, but you should notice that your immune system gets a boost. They say that you're supposed to do a parasite cleanse before doing this, but it's really not necessary for most people since the liver cleanse instructions are aimed at those suffering from cancer.

I did one of these this weekend and got through fine. There's really no pain involved; though, I wouldn't stray too far from a bathroom. The worst part of it is drinking the Epsom salt... it's not a pleasant flavor. I recommend sucking on an ice cube to dull the taste buds before drinking and have some mouthwash handy afterwards. The important part is that I definitely got results.

I've linked instructions below. The link works, but can be slow at times. Give it a shot... it's cheap, painless, and might help out with various health problems.

Sea salt colon cleanse

Sea salt colon cleanse solution is not only considered to be a simple but also very effect way of getting rid of the toxins which get accumulated in our colon over a period of time. It is not a new thing and it has been in use for centuries hence sea salt is considered to be a time tested and proven solution for colon cleansing.

The sea salt colon cleansing technique required you to consume a solution made of sea salt mixed with water. The sea salt solution is to be taken in empty stomach. But remember that this process requires you to use either sea salt or mineral salt which is not chemically altered. The use of table salt may not be able to provide you the desired result because there are various minerals found in sea salt which is not found in regular table salt and the table salt also contains iodine which is absent in sea salt.
