Dual Action Colon

what is the best way to cleanse your colon?

I haven't used the dual action cleanse. The one I prefer is Herbal Fiberblend. It's a powdered herb and fiber combo. It doesn't taste very good (I mix it with grape juice to make it easier), but it really works great.

Obviously, eating right is the best choice for anyone, but even with that we tend to accumulate a lot of toxins, etc., in our system from a variety of sources. I think a yearly cleanse is a good healthy idea. This particular cleanse gets rid of any parasites you may have picked up along the way, too. :-)

If you decide to go with a colon cleansing product, be sure to drink plenty of water. You won't get as good results if you don't.

Any colon cleanser will make you feel discomfort, but that just lets you know it's working to dislodge the waste and buildup.

And you have to be careful, because they can be unhealthy IF you get a colon cleanser that doesn't come with a probiotics/replenishing formula. Along with the waste that the cleansers get rid of, they get rid of some of the good bacteria too. You need to get one with a replenishing formula to help rebuild those healthy bacteria quickly.

I've been using Evercleanse and it has been working great. I read a few reviews over at http://www.bestcoloncleanse.us and went with it.

Note: Be careful about any cleanser offering a "free" trial. If you read the fine print, you'll see that they make you sign up for an automatic monthly rebill for $80+ to get the free trial and they make it hard to cancel.

i was just wondering if this is going to make me have diarrhea or something? what are the side effects of the detox? thanks

The biggest result you will see is just that diarrhea, not any kind of cleansing just plain old self induced diarrhea. Probably a little diarrhea of the wallet as well.

If she is constipated from the chemo or premeds, she should use a gentle laxative such as Colace or Senekot.

Even healthy people don't need to cleanse their colons. Chemo patients are usually told to avoid even suppositories.

It is not useful from the medical point of view,
Colon "dual" would mean purgative (laxative) as well as enema action at the same time.
It wont help anybody to improve anything.
The Colon has its own ways to "cleanse" istelf, with high fiber diet and proper toilet habits, even in very grown adults.
On the other hand, "double cleansing" of the colon, has the risk of lowering dangerously, your potassium serum levels, because it can wash away, much of the colon mucus, that contains potassium in quantities big enough, to cause that dangerous loss, and be the cause of hypokalemia (low serum potassium levels).....
It is NOT generally recommended, because it does not bring any real advantage to the patient, and can cause painful and costly, and dangerous side effects (there is always the risk)
