Colonic Hydrotherapy

I've had digestive problems for years, and am considering colonic hydrotherapy by a licensed professional who was a registered nurse. She's had plenty of schooling for this and has done it for years. I know many of you look at these quackwatch websites, but isn't it true that the FDA and many other organizations intentionally try to discredit alternative therapies, because it doesn't make them money?

My question really is, has anyone ever had this procedure done, and what were the results? I've seen many examples of people on the web who actually said it helped them, so I am curious what you think. What are the dangers?

Information on Colon Health

Does anyone have any experience of this or thoughts on this. Does it work. I have heard some suggestions that it is a scam but surely if it removes compacted fecal matter that has been in there years then surely it is of benefit for the health. What are your thoughts please. Thanks in advance.

I once knew of a woman who had a spastic colon and had to be hospitalized after having a colonic. I have heard of similar cases.

Years ago, I had about 6 colonics and everything went fine. However, I had no major colon problems to begin with. I would check with a doctor first, especially after the addendectomy. Perhaps a GI doctor would know the best about this. Be well.

Will you release the same amount of toxins at home eventually? Is professional hydrotherapy really worth the money?

Likely both are a waste of time. Just do it naturally with an high fiber diet.
