I want open practice in New Jersey and I was trying to find set of rules regarding colon hydrotherapy for New Jersey and New York but could not find any.
I think they find that fraudulent quackery such as colon cleanses are hampered by the presence of a real doctor.
I had a colonic and though i would share the experience with you all.
What will they come up with next? What is with all this garbage about Colonics. All they are is a glorified enema. I can't imagine doing something like that voluntarily unless I was extremely constipated. An enema will clean out your colon for sure, but what are the long term effects? I just don't see where these things are so supposedly "beneficial to your health".
This is not a new thing at all. It has been practiced by yogis for centuries. With the western diet being what it is, impacted fecal matter is an issue. There is the suggestion that the matter could be reabsorbed into the system causing all sorts of effects. Leave a pot of mixed proteins, starches, fruits & processed foods on the stove at a low temp & see what you end up with. I've read that this is what the colon is like after being loaded up with processed junk & poor food combining. I do not agree or disagree, whatever works...use it.
Almost everything has a side/after effect or two, so I basically want to know what to expect so I don't bug out, after a treatment. A colleague of mine said she noticed a mucous-like consistency mixed with blood as her first two movements, but the therapist claimed that it was not uncommon, since the colon is being cleared from all the old feces and toxins over the years Can anyone else vouch for that, or guide me to some worthy sources to read up on?
Don't bother. It's a waste of money. As long as your diet contains a sufficient amount of fiber everything will move along naturally. 'Old feces and toxins' do not build up over the years.
Greetings everybody!
Today I went to Whole Foods and I bought a pound of organic
Allegro coffee, the "El Salvador" brand. I bought the beans and the clerk ground them for me.
I bought this coffee with the intent to use for my at home coffee enema but the brand i that i used last week (that was given to me by my colon therapist) had a beige/light brown color and it did not smell like coffee at all.
This Allegro El Savador organic brand is dark brown with beight specs and has a rich coffee aroma but I thought coffee used for enemas were light brown/beige color.
Did I purchase the correct type of coffee for my enema? Pls let me know...I want to make sure I'm doing this correctly by purchasing the correct organic brand for my coffee enema procedure.
Hi Beth, I do know that they have a specific type of coffee that is blended just for enema use, that might have been the kind your therapist gave you. My colon therapist told me that it really doesn't matter, as long as you don't brew it too strong, or take too often.
A massage therapist told me to rub castor oil on my tummy then put Saran Wrap around my middle, covering the castor oil, then put a towel on and put a heating pad on top of the towel. to warm my belly area because it will break lose toxins in my system and, if I use a colon cleanser or get a colonic, it'll be more effective than if I didn't use the Castor Oil. The trouble is that I've read Castor Oil can be toxic and harm your liver. What do you think?
I've answered your same question a few hours ago, but maybe this will help.

What Is Colon Hydrotherapy? | Colonic Irrigation | ColonCleanseBox
Colon hydrotherapy is a process of colon cleansing in which a pipe is inserted in your colon through anus and then large amount of water is flushed through that pipe inside your colon. This is a very effective method of removing fecal matter that is building there for long. This is a very quick way of cleansing and without any involvement of any drugs or chemicals. In this process a person lies in a comfortable position and then a system of tubes are used to send water inside the colon which takes out the filth from the colon at the same time. It is advisable to take help of a professional for the therapy to avoid any complications. The temperature of the water is very important in the therapy;...
