Colon Gas

My 20yr. old son frequently get gas lodged in his colon.At least that's where the doctor said it was. Gas pills, soda pop, Maalox don't help. This is very painful. Any advice on getting relief?

Gas would not lodge there unless he has some backed up poo in there. He may not know he has pockets of unpassed fecal matter. This can cause gas because this putrid matter is full of the not so friendly bacteria.

He also may have a problem digesting certain foods. Many people can not digest lactose in milk very well or gluten in wheat products. This undigested food would cause gas. So if this is a possibility have him try to avoid certain foods to see what the results are.

Your criticism is uncalled for. People take these products for a multitude of reasons. There is no proof that doing so will cause me to become vitamin deficient. Thanks anyway, move along.

I do a colon cleanse twice a year and unfortunately gas is a side affect of the cleanse. You will get through it.

I used to have the same problems as you, (5 years ago). Even after a yogurt a could not bend to tie my shoe laces, very bloated.
