Colon Clear

I really don't like to get colonics although i will. But wanted to know what I could do on a regualr basis to clear and clean my colon out? Fruits? Veggies? Nuts? If so, what kind of each item...
Is there ANY one thing? Prunes?

Apples
Celery
Carrots
Lettuce

...all raw, of course.

I don't really want to clean my colon or be more regular, I just want to 1 time empty my colon of all stool. Should I load up on metamucil or bran muffins, should I down a bunch of laxatives, should I take some of those wacky herbal suppliments, or what?....

Oh yeah, I'm thinking of combining a concentrated tablet form fibre suppliment with a couple laxatives.. Good idea?

try getting the garden hose and jamming it up there. There should clean it out nicely.

In health store person said that acne starts from buidl up of toxins in digestive system. told me to take a colon cleanser and it will cure it.

I know you have to take probiotics also, when would u take those?

Try seeing a dermatologist instead.

i am going in for a colonoscopy tomorrow and have been told to drink 2 liters of medication to clear the colon
however I am finding it really hard to drink and keep gagging on it I have taken half the solution and my stool is clear (due to the fact that Iv been having running diarrhea for 3 weeks..so the solution didnt really have to do much to clear my bowels

Call and tell them you are having problems. If they won't, cancel the colonoscopy and find another doctor. When they ask why say it's because you wouldn't listen.

I refuse to do the prep with any PEG product. You are basically drinking anti-freeze. For the future, remember you have prep choices. If your doctor says you don't, show them you do by saying "YES, I DO!". The best answer to a doctor is "that is NOT acceptable" and then just shut up and wait for them to speak. The doctor WILL provide an alternative. If I didn't like that I responded "next choice?"

Unless you have kidney problems, the Fleet Phospho Soda is a much more palatable choice because you can chug it fast (straight) and chase it with other clear liquids (though they don't tell you that will work). If you do the phospho soda, you MUST drink LOTS of clear liquids (sprite, gatorade, etc) to keep your kindneys healthy.

I would like to do one of those colon clear things... i've seen them advertised in the form of pills, and I know that doctors perform them. However, I don't have the money to go to a doctor, so I was wondering if anyone could suggest an over the counter solution? Thanks!
