Have anybody tried this product yet and how does it work? I want to see what other people think of this product and will they try it? I don't what to hear about Acai berry. Can someone tell me there experience with this particular product and is it worth it.

im thinking of taking colon cleanse pills and they have lots of fiber in them. Is it safe to eat foods with lots of fiber since the pills will have it? Could i overdose in fiber and make myself sick?

I don't know if psyllium will hurt him; I doubt it.

But fiber is only part of the answer. He needs to be on probiotics. You can find these in all health stores and some supermarkets. The best brands are refrigerated. L. Acidophilus is one of the important strains of bacteria that live in the colon and help digest food. There are several other strains, all unpronounceable, that are important to keeping him regular. Most of them can be found in health stores. Just pick one and try it.

Most good brands of yogurt have these bacteria in them. But you'd have to get a plain, unsweetened kind to have the best effects - sourrrr!!! He may not like it, so I would suggest probiotic capsules. They will act slowly, because his colon has probably been depleted, and it will take a while for the "good bacteria" to "re-colonize". After a month or two he should see a major difference in his bowel habits.

You might try taking him to a colonics therapist - they will gently irrigate his colon and stimulate peristalsis, the wavelike motion of the intestines that's vital to good digestion.

Don't worry about him too much - I had a really serious problem with this for many years, and it disappeared after I started taking probiotics.

Once he is regular again, keep him on the probiotics. Keep them in the fridge and make sure he takes them after every course of antiobiotics, every illness, every stressful event in his life. He should probably take them every day for the rest of his life, but he may not need to once he's balanced.
